Hi rj.

There are numerous type of shipping containers you can use. The heavier the
item the stronger the container you need. There are some places that can
pack your items and even shipped for you. Boxes etc. is one among some
others. On items like bumpers, there are containers that can be cut to
customs specs, some have that tube shape, others a triangle shape. Fenders
are easier since you can get a box big enough to have it fit. On engines is
better to go with a wooden crate or similar material. The engine need to be
secure with bolts or a metal or plastic band. Lighter items need to have its
empty space inside the container fill with something like newspaper (lots of
them) or my favorites, bubble wrap or popcorn foam. Also, get a box big
enough so the corners of the item, when place inside the container, be at
least 3" away from the container corner (to protect it from heavier item
during shipment Boxes Etc. can tell you how much it will cost to wrap your
stuff or ideas on "how to". I'm a GI who is a Logistic Specialist and do
packing and shipping at work.
hope this help
Luis
