Insurance was *very* nice to me, if you catch my drift (that's why I also own a Harley). Stick to your guns, they'll try everything to lowball you on a payoff. One thing to consider: some companies will let you "buy" back the wreck by taking a few less bucks in settlement, but you have to dispose of the thing on your own afterwards. You can strip it to your hearts content for whatever parts worth while to you and for a future source.
