As someone else hinted: sure, if you don't mind less efficient cooling, more noise, and the loss of cargo space. I think people do this just to avoid what they imagine is a big hassle with T3 engines. My pal mentioned above recently purchased the car, refuses to open his decklid at events, and is gathering parts to build a proper T3.
