That's the speaker grill. You get to the speaker by going under the dash. The
grill *can* be removed by pulling on it but I don't recommend it. Since mine
dash was already cracked I did this.
Couldn't tell you about the tires.

I know this sounds rather silly, but what is the little grille in the middle
of the dashboard for? It doesn't do anything at all. Is it for the fresh air
fan. If it helps it is a 69 square.
Also, what does everyone think of Kelley widetrack tires?
