Hi. Well, I got the '72 Squareback I mentioned a few weeks ago and I'm loving it. However, I have problems. Periodically I have trouble starting the car. I can eventually get it started after trying it for a while and after that it runs fine (except for a few times when it has stalled out while I was driving; this always happened within less than a mile of home and I was able to get it started after a while, then it ran fine). Something peculiar I've noticed during those times when I have difficulty starting it is that fuel seems to be dripping out of the exhaust system onto the ground. It's dripping out from the gasket where the left and right exhaust pipes connect. My initial thought was that maybe it was a leak in one of the fuel lines, but I can't detect any leak that would allow the gas to get down in the exhaust system. Could a problem with one of the injectors be causing this problem? Any help or advice that you can give me would be great.
