I hate remembering details like that. If the 66 is still 6 volt then you need to convert the 73 flywheel to the 6 V ring gear. Berg can do this fairly cheaply. In this case, no machining of the bellhousing will be necessary, and you will use the 6 V starter and bushing. If the 66 is 12 V, then you need to buy one of the many books that show where to remove metal from the inside of the bell housing, or just look inside a 12 V bell housing and see where it is machined. Of course if the car is already 12 V, then this must have already been done. Same for the starter and bushing. In either case, you will need to switch to the early style pressure plate with the release ring.
