They're not all that hard to find, but they're bloody damned expensive! -----Original Message----- From: Jim Adney [SMTP:jadney@vwtype3.org] Sent: Friday, 11 December 1998 9:59 To: type3@vwtype3.org Subject: Re: [T3] hoses from fan housing On 12 Dec 98, at 0:19, Stan Schaefer wrote: > Berg supposedly ships welded-in-place heater box tubes on their > headers, but I've only seen T1s, not TIIIs. I used the Berg extract藉籷many years, throught two different manufacturers (Four-Tuned and Phoenix), they both provided steel ducts to make that connection. This is by far the way to go if you want an extractor exhaust. These steel ducts attach after the OE elbows, so you don't lose any functionality there. Eventually I stopped using the Quiet Power exhausts because I just couldn't keep them sealed as well as the OEM exhausts, but the OEM mufflers are getting harder and harder to find.
