RE: [T3] gas Tank Cleaning


Bummer.  In AZ they still do it; they strip and seal coat the tank, and it
takes like four days to do, and it costs $125.  So, depending on where in CA
you are, but you might want to do a couple of weekends in sunny Arizona.

They did it to my one Beetle like 6 years ago (I don't remember it costing
more than like $45 at the time), and it was a wonderful job.

	Aparently not in california.... I just called a radiator shop...
they
	said that they used to do it but new regulations would have made
them
	purchase a 75,000 permit each year to continue doing it.... he said

	was one of the last one's to do it also.... mentioned some place in
	stockton Ca that would do it for about $250.... I think I'll just
try
	cleaning it myself....
