RE: [T3] '67 squareback-questions

Are you DARKing your car up? A 6-v system *should* be fine, so long as it's
still mostly intact. Unless I missed a huge piece of your thread...?

Heey..i was having problems before figuring out my voltage (i had a
6 volt
generator on a '67 etc etc)..i just discovered that the reason the
12 volt
generator wouldnt fit is because the fan shroud is from an earlier
model
squareback..so im going to a) have to get the fan shroud replaced
with is time
consuming and costly or b)put in a 12 volt porshe generator that
will fit into
the smaller fan shroud space....i was told it'll be around 600 bucks
cause i
cant do it myself. (they gotta drop the engine to replace the fan
shroud? i
	think)...so what should i do?? a porshe 12 volt generator is 300
bucks????!!!
and a used fan shroud at a junk yard is around 100...i
think..meanwhile my
poor car is is pain and getting 10 miles to the gallon..still. help!
