All this talk of Dark sideness is forcing me to confess to a vw dream that I have had for a while. This involves a Corrado, VR6 and a 66 squareback. You simply take the body off say a wrecked(from behind) VR6 Corrado, slice the nose off the square , and then set the square on the Corrado frame. Now you would have to create a firewall then tube frame the front end, adjust the length of the frame, and bolt on the hood and align it with the body. put all the motor stuff in and pay someone else to do the FI. Line up the front fenders with the front clip bolted on . Weld all that up and your good to go. In place of the spare tire you will have, of course, the (gulp) radiator with the air inlets placed under the front bumper. The interior will look stock of course except for a custom wood steering wheel, CD player , Full roll cage and AC. The spare tire and gas tank will be placed where the motor and tranny used to be. The hatch is already there......... As a matter of fact i think that the stock oil filler will become the gas filler. Exept for the sporty rims the exterior will look stock with a roof rack, and all the nice crome trim. Ahhhhhhhh.... I can see it now..... Sitting at the red light with my groceries in the back seat and some jerk in a Corvette or some stupid muscle car poking fun at my slow little station wagen...................See ya............. -----------Bryan "VR6'n" Mitchell ---69 square ---71 westy ---70 microbus --- 74 super (parting out) ---71 Super (parting out) ---68 bus (for Free to anyone) ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe
