!) Doors have small slits at bottom corners, between the outer and inner skins. Clean these out and you will allow the water to drain out as it gets in. If you still get sloshing noises, it may be water in the rockers (sills); remove the bottom wing fixing screw to see if it drips out of there. 2) Door scraper replacement involves stripping all the window part of the window. The scraper fits in the empty frame (no vent-wing either). It's a major job, but take care and you can do it without damaging the paint (after all, VW did it when they made them). If you need further details of the procedure, please e-mail. 3) Where to get them. I hear there's a supplier in California, but I've lost the site URL. If you can't get them, you can restore the frame with new rubber (use 1/8" rivets, remove the mandrel after setting, and flatten to complete). The '65-on rubber is long enough, also the Type 2 Bus rubber. Frames for these are easy to get. I have an idea that the rubber itself may also be available, but no address (not from VW I expect).
