[T3] VW sanding process adequate?

If you just have surface rust, you can probably skip the 40 grit as this
will put some wicked deep scratches in the surrounding good paint. I would
also recommend 180 or 240 grit before you get to the 400 or you will be
feathering for a loooooonnnng time.
