Why? Especially if the engine stays stock, why? Unless you're racing only leave the stock cooler where it is. If you want a secondary oil cooler then you should add a full flow oil pump cover and install a filter and put in a thermostatic bypass to the secondary cooler. Placing the secondary in a good location isn't easy...it's something I'm currently thinking about. I don't think the region above the tranny is a good location. You need to place it in an airstream and not in a dead air or turbulent air space. In the engine the stock unit is always in the airstream, even at idle since the fan continuously pushes air over the engine. There's more to building a big engine than displacement. All load bearing parts need appropriate attention, spin balancing should be a must, cooling now becomes an issue, new induction system is a must, eight dowel the crank/flywheel. Just a few of the many things that come to mind. If you are desiring a bigger powerplant you should have the tranny rebuilt to handle the extra horsepower and you should get a Stage I clutch as well. Why do you want a bigger engine and how did you determine 1.9L as what you want? A modified engine is costly, requires more maintenance, and won't live as long as a stock unit. I'm not trying to discourage you I just want you to think about what you're doing because many go for the "big" engine and don't follow through and are left with crap.
