[T3] Crabby Carbs

I HATE carbs... OK now that thats out of my system I threw a set of the unthinkable on my 65 Notch
just to get it up and going for a while until I get time to do the FI retrofit.

Of course Im having problems!

Stock 32 PDSIT's just rebuilt (by me).

when first started it runs WAY too rich, massive loping idle, and if I relax the chokes then the fast
idle cam wont raise the idle when cold and it wont idle but with the chokes fully closed its way too
rich.. I know Ill never get it to track correctly ( I HATE carbs) but are there a few pointers to
keep the fast idle cam engaged and run it leaner, like increase the idle air volume? or wont that
help
when cold.

It also seems to "hunt and peck" at crusing speed... meaning it isn't smooth like the FI Square,
almost like an occational miss on one cylinder, the points are new and timing OK and all else with
the ign seems good.

I have Synced these carbs by eye, and theres plenty of power but Im gonna try the Unisyn I just got
real soon.

Any Ideas??
