  1. Bad (i.e. low vapor pressure) gas?  Duh, I know, but really easy to
fix
  2. Gas line, aftermarket fuel filter sitting on the tin/oil cooler/hot
bit?
  3. Tin start leaking hot air? (yeah, right)
  4. Celestial orentation?
My toy car (Datsun roadster) actually has a little thermostat and a
return line so that when the fuel temp gets over 130 or so degrees, it
starts circulating fuel back to the tank.  The extent to which some
manufacturers will go amazes me at times...
