Hello all, I have a question about carburetors. A few months ago, I found a '73 bus at a junkyard. Since it was soon to be crushed, the owner said I could have everything I wanted for $40.00. Since I was traveling in my Honda, with wife and baby, room was a prime issue. I got everything that I could fit into the car. In the cargo area of the bus, was the engine for the bus, and another engine, which looked very much like the engine from my type III, but I think is was an older engine. Anyway, I got the carbs off the type III engine. I have not done anything with them. The other day I was looking at one, and wondering if there was anyway I could use them on a type 4 bus engine. The part number on the body of the carb is 32 PIDCT 2 and 32 PIDCT 3. (I am not 100% sure of the number as I am at work now, but it is close). The part number on my bus carbs is 32-34 PIDCT 2 and 32-34 PIDCT 3. The only difference is one set of carbs has the number 32 and one set has 32-34. I did notice that the 32 PIDCT carb has what appears to be a mount for screw about 1 inch above the air intake. Are these some type III specific carbs, or could I use them on a bus. If they are type III specific, does anyone want to buy them (of trade for a bus setup). My square is fuel injected (and dead right now), so I don't need the carbs. I do not have the linkage for them, but I did get the single port manifolds. Any information or offers are greatly appreciated. Thanks, Stuart
