Your car should have the wrap-around front signals and wrap-around rear
reflectors.  This was the last year in US for wrap-arounds.  
Apparently, (from what our German listee Roland says) in Europe these
signals continued 'till the new body stlye in '70.  Perhaps some sort of
side view safety mandate required US to switch back to bullet style.
The gas filler flap to oblivion is the give-away that your fenders are
replacements.
