Running Avgas in your VW

 Some time ago, I read that someone suggested NOT to run avgas (aviation
fuel)
 in thier VWs because of something, I don't remember what it was though. Can
 that person speak up ? I run and have been running avgas with a small amount
 of 93 autogas mixed (~70/30) and wondered if that would harm anything. I get
 the avgas cheaper than autogas, it's leaded, and 100oct. It's called 100LL
 (LL stands for Low Lead). I run 10'BTDC timing on the stock 1500 with the
 side draft carb. Everything is stock. I can't think of a good reason NOT to
 use the avgas, anyone else have an opinion ? I would think, if anything,
it'd
 be better than unleaded gas. But, I'm wrong more often than not, according
to
 my family.
