Unless you have bad boots your uppers will last forever (beefy joint with little stress on it) North Carolina? AAAHhh NO SALT! Your stud bolts and nut should come loose with some effort. DONT BREAK THE STUD BOLT OFF! It should be a 9.8 unless some joker used something else, check this as you can break an 8.8 much easier. If it wont come get an Oxy torch and heat the knuckel red hot and it WILL come loose. Same for the nut but be careful not to round off the groove in the arm when twisting off the nut. Wrap the joint in a wet rag if you need to use a torch.!!! Keith parkkj@crd.ge.com
