April and I are still rebuilding our '71 Fastback... the engine is out and awaiting more parts. Our recent move to Maine put a kink in our J-tube delivery and I think it may have been for the best. After reading some of your thoughts on heaters I am reconsidering replacing our heater boxes with new ones intstead of the J-tubes. However, I have not seen any Type III heater bowes advertized anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find some??? Bill & Steves thought they had some used ones for $30 each and after I ordered them they said they couldn't find any. So, Please let me know where I can find some new or used. On the flip side if I decided to go with a gas heater, would I still need heater boxes for the defroster or is that channeled from the gas heater too? Is there anyone in the Southern Maine area that could do a good installation job? Thanks for your future responses!!!! Eric & April Kohring 1971 Fastback
