Since some people thought that my answer on rear scripts was I little confusing, here it comes again: The first is the car model, the one in brackets the rear script. 1500 (VW 1500) 1500S (1500)+'Volkswagen' both underlined and a 'S'on tag-light-housing 1500N (1500) 1500A (VW 1500) 1600 (VW 1600) 1600A (VW 1600) 1600L (VW 1600 L) 1600E (VW 1600 LE) 1600LE (VW 1600 LE) 1600T (VW 1600) 1600TA (VW 1600) 1600TL (VW 1600 TL) 1600TE (VW 1600 LE) 1600TLE (VW 1600 TLE) Some don`t seem to match e.g. the script 'VW 1600 LE' was used on three different models. VW didn`t make a script for every car to keep production costs down. All cars were availablw with option "M14" which replaced the standard script by 'Volkswagen' Roland `69 square (VW 1600 L) `69 fastback (VW 1600 TL) `69 beetle (VW 1300)
