In the continuing struggle to get my 73 square rebuilt, I discovered yet another instance in which my previous owners or owners cobbled together my little car. In attempting to put the rear bellows in place, I found that the diameter of the boot was about 2 inches too big at both of the openings. After struggling with it for about 3 hours, and having torn it in several spots in the process, I ordered a new one from WCM. It arrived yesterday, and it fit like a glove. In 10 minutes, I was admiring a fresh bellows strapped securely between my engine and the car. My question is this: what could this other bellows have been from? I really can't see how it could have been attached securely without a difficult fold front and rear to make it fit under the metal straps. I'm thinking maybe a type 4? Also, I am still looking for Jake Kooser's Email address. If anyone has it or if Jake himself is still on the list, please contact me directly. Bryan bjc159s@nic.smsu.edu
