You might check with the local Universities. They often have a do-it-yourself auto shop. We had one at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. It was well equipped (tire changer, hydraulic lift, air tools, etc) Students could work there for an hourly rate which included space and tool rental and what ever advice one could get out of the shop members. Non-students were welcome also, but paid a slightly higher fee. Rates are like $2.00/hour for a bay and $4.00/hour for the lift. You might also check the local Sports Car Club (SCCA). Our shop at RPI was affliated. Good luck. -- John Jaranson Research Engineer Ford Motor Company SRL 2621 Dearborn, MI 48121 (313)323-0553 (313)845-4724 FAX
