T3s have 4 heat exchangers. Most everyone will have the two large
lower ones that surround the front exhaust ports. All header
exhausts that I have ever seen require the removal of the much
smaller rear heat exchangers. These attach to the muffler by a large
fitting that works like a pipe union. If you see a new muffler you
will see.
I believe there is also a good exploded view of all this in the
Bentley manual.
