Get an old analog Ohmeter. Carefully pull the 3 term FI connector
off the dist and connect the Ohmeter between the center pin and one
of the outside pins on the dist. Have someone crank the engine. The
needle should swing alternatley high and low. Repeat the measurement
between the center and the other pin. Should get same result. If
not, pull dist and trigger points, clean points with a bit of clean
paper and replace. You can check it as above by turning it with your
hand while it is out.
