The pump *sounds* like it's working hard & steadily, but that's no accurate measure. I suppose the things to do next include pulling the injectors & watching how they're squirting/leaking, confirming that the cold start jet isn't leaking, and then look to the pump/filter/pressure regulator. Also, check the voltage regulator again (been a while). Any more thoughts, anybody?>> Greg: Sounds like a bad fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, or clogged/plugged fuel line/filter. A working stock fuel pump puts out far more flow and pressure than this system needs. The fuel pressure regulator simply returns all the unused volume. I've had leaking injectors, cold start valves, etc. and these never had enough losses to make the fuel pressure "jump around". I'd pinch the return line with the engine running and see if the pressure went up steadily. If so, I'd replace the regulator. If not, it's the pump, filter, or line. Mike
