Guess you pay the price for having a vehicle "never" imported into the U.S... The only Notch I had, a '63, I sold/traded for about $2000, and it had a new front clip barely welded on and the engine area was completely cut out for a Type I 2020cc engine. Needless to say, it was extremely loud inside the VW. BTW, how much is shipping, import costs, etc. for a vehicle from Europe?
