In that state of mind, I used a couple feet of FAA *approved* fuel line from
our airport  and installed in instead of the original line from the aft fuel
line outlet all the way to the carb. It looks the same, black rubber, but has
an extra thick shell. The ID is still 1/4". It looks like I oughta be running
50psi on the fuel lines ! Nice, thick, fire-protection that's leaves you
happily motoring along.
