Right now (I'am waiting on a battery) I have a little storage and I poke
around and find the things that I need. If you are going for the 1 st
class resto buy new what you can afford and what you can find. For just
the clean up (my project) I am hitting the "ugliest and dirtiest" first.
Being a daily driver I assume all the mechanicals are in good shape. My
door panels are okay, but they could be better. So, I have a better pair
stashed away. Being without a garage here in the winter I am going to let
the dings go, although on the first warm winter day a little sanding and
priming is in order. I am giving the inside a really good cleaning,
straightening out the wiring under the dash and stuff.

I am looking for obscure parts now, for example now I need the relay rods
for my dual carb setup. One broke and I was not very happy to find out
that the threads were cw on one end and ccw on the other.. Anybody got any
spares?

just my 0.02,
regards, Theo Bryant
