What I did was get some plastic foam (polystyrine?), cut a hole for the speaker then epoxy velcro hooks to the backside, and epoxy velcro to the forward, upper portion of the footwell. The end result were speackers that were out of sight, light-weight, and cheap. I had also spray painted the plastic black. Buck 67 Squareback
