Everyone,
we're there, folks!!! "Pledges" for the new e-mail list & web site
have topped $1,150 (the minimum goal for the first year is $920)! Great
support!
More details will follow, along with some personal replies to folks
who sent me some specific questions. Here's what will happen next; I will:
o publish an updated pledge list on the list & web;
o open a separate checking account for all of the funds by
early next week;
o send out the call for people to send their contributions
(including address & who to write the check to--I'll ask
the bank to let us use some name like "Type 3" or the like);
o keep the list up-to-date as the contributions come in; and
o purchase the new services for the group as soon as we've
got $920 in the bank!
I will be away from my e-mail all of Friday & much of Saturday.
Stay tuned for updates!
(Meanwhile, the consensus is to go with "www.vwtype3.com". Any
objections???)
