Check the oil level and add oil if needed (use the proper type as well).
It would help if you gave more information on your engine...is it fuel injected
or carbed? if carbed is it stock or beefed-up? how old is the engine? etc.
Because it dies once in a while when idling I'm guessing it's FI. You may need
a new head temperature sensor or maybe a wire is shorting out. What is your
normal idle?

i have two problems with my 68 square........first, after the engine is
warm and i come to a stop the oil light flickers on and off......and
depending on how hot it is is might even stay on untill i start going
again???? Do i need to readjust my idle??? Second, after the engine is
warm it will sometimes stall when i am at a light......i would appreciate ant
help anyone could give me on this matter! THANKS
