They have all had a hard plastic emblem that was attached after the fact. But the molded flaps do exist. I have salvaged 2 sets from Type 3 Ghias. The attachment bar is also different on these originals than the others that I have seen. The originals have a single bar in a 'Z' shape. The others have 2 bars that make them easier to fit different applications. The part that goes up the fender lip is also longer on the originals. If you guys both have these originals and not the cheap imitation then I am indeed jealous. But it gives me hope that they still exist and that I will eventually find NOS ones.
