Lube the rubber and the hole with water and dish detergent. Push it in with
a C-clamp using appropriate sockets as spacers above the Pittman arm. You
need to push it WAY past center in order for it to end up centered after you
remove the C-clamp.
Glad you are replacing it. They are always shot after this much time.
