There are at least two kinds of camber compensators, with a number of
variations. Both look like a leaf spring.

One kind is attributed to EMPI, and mounts with straps over the
transmission mounting horns.

The other has a plate which uses existing transmission assembly bolts to
mount to the bottom of the transmission. These, almost always, result in
transmission leaks.

Of the second variety, there are several variations. Many of them are
made so the spring will bolt to the transmission mounting plate by means
of a hole drilled in the spring. Others have a sleeve on the mounting
plate that holds the spring in place. The kind with the hole drilled in
the spring are likely to break at that hole.

There are a number of ways that the springs are held in place or rest
against the axle ends. They all work.
