        Hi, my name is Shannon.  I haven't even had a chance to introduce
myself to the rest of you, and already I have a huge problem.

        I just bought my fastback last Saturday.  I had been looking for a
fastback worth restoring for three years.  Boy did I find a real jewel.. now
six days later some damn pizza boy backed into it, tearing up my left front
fender.  No question about it, he's liable..now the question: what should I
know to avoid being cheated by his insurance company?  I've already heard
horror stories of people who restored their VW's and then couldn't get the
full amount of damage due to the age.  I hadn't yet gotten stated-value
insurance (yes I have been kicking myself all day long).

        Any advice would be appreciated...
