Hi, I'm trying to get the CV joints off of my T-3 but I'm having some trouble. They have these bolts with a star shaped insert holding them down. I tried using a hex key but none fit properly. The bit that I need should have 12 points on them I know, but I'm not sure what exact size the bit should be. When I read Muir's book it said that all I need to worry about is the amount of bumps (splines?) the bit should have but as I found out, there is more than one size bit with 12 bumps. I tried using a vice grip to get at least one bolt off so I could take it to the store, but no luck. Can anybody help me? Thanks. _____________________ Richard Steinburg wagen@pangea.ca
