Fenders, Doors, horses and carts

T-# People:
Earlier I contacted you guys about seals and fender beading. thanks.
but everytime I'm about ready to tackle the exterior and interior, the
engine goes. (Hence, horse before the cart.) This time, my wife
called me at work and said, "It's doing it again..." Meaning the car is
stalling out at unpredictable times. I even had it in a shop for over
a week a few weeks ago, and all the guy could say was, "I tightened a
ground wire under the seat." I went underneath the seat and cleaned
all of the contacts on all of the relays, especially those dealing w/
f.i. and fuel pump. this seemed to do the trick, even though the car
has always felt "Funny" (i.e.-it is not as smooth as I would like,
even after checking EVERYTHING-fuel pump, fuel pressure, complete
rebuild, timing, plugs, f.i. wiring, valves, battery, intake manifold,
contact triggers, points/condenser, etc.) Is this the end? Is the
Squareback going to be garaged? Stay tuned...I hate to say it, but
that 240 sx we test drove last week is beginning to look mighty
fine....Any suggestions? (No..I will not sell it, as it still has
ORIGINAL paperwork and plates from Germany, where wife's Grandparents
picked it up from the factory before having it shipped to u.s., plus
one tiny rust spot, plus great transmission, new
shocks/tires/glass/paint/etc.....sorry this was so long. Had to
vent! What do YOU think? -Mark
