Peter- Ha ha. Loved the story. Be glad for the "family truckster". We had only a bug when our little monster was born. Guess what? Our car seat was physically unable to fit in the backseat (facing the rear) so I spent six months stuffed in the back (the husband is too tall and claims I drive like a maniac). Not fun. The square is so wonderful for kids (or those of us who just think like them). Don't think of it as unsafe..as long as you have seatbelts it's as safe or safer than anything else out there. It isn't all fiberglass (probably) and there aren't any killer airbags, right? Besides, it's *weird*, so everyone sees you on the road, and it's hard to get hit when people are trying like heck to figure out "What IS that thing?" :) Congratulations on your impending little one (and happy Father's Day!). ....Oh, and that reminds me.... I'd like to thank all the fathers (and future fathers) out there who have taken the time over the years to pass on the "legacy" of these cars to their spouses, children, friends, and neighbors (and probably any other poor sap within earshot). Happy Father's Day! Without you guys, we'd all be driving Fords. ;) -Trish
