I have a 1972 Fastback that I've had a couple of years that I'd like to find a good home for. Watch the upcoming issue of GASS, it should be in the classified section. The car is located in Western Pennsylvania. 1972 TYPE 3 FASTBACK -Good solid motor and tranny, both rebuilt not that long ago. -4 good tires. -Newer Diehad battery with some of the highest available cranking amps. -PERFECT FRONT SEATS. (No rips, tares, or blemishes) -Very good rear seat. -New brakes all the way around. -All bearings regreased and inspected. -CV's regreased and inspected. All new boots. -Manual transmission, with unique Hurst shifter. (I've never seen another on a Type 3.) -PERFECT GAS TANK. NO RUST INSIDE OR OUT. (This is my best one!) -CAR IS FROM FLORIDA. VERY SOLID BODY IN ALL THE KEY PLACES. NOT, repeat, NOT you usual rust hole on wheels. -The current front hood has a few blemishes, so I'll throw in another hood that's PERFECT, with NO dents or bondo. -The rear motor lid hood had some bondo put in it, so I'll throw in another PERFECT lid as well in the price of the vehicle. -FLOOR PANS NICE!!!! -Fenders and quarters-PERFECT!!! NO RUST AT ALL. (Not even on the drive side below the antenna.) -BODY COLOR: Clementine Orange. -New Bosch Super Plugs, new cap, points, condenser, wires, etc. ALL Bosch. -New German mechanical feul pump. -Converted to a single, two barrel progressive Weber Carb. A real workhorse. NO FUEL INJECTION HASSLES!!! -ALWAYS GARAGED. -NO PAPERWORK NIGHTMARES. Good Title, ready to go! THE CAR HAS HAD A LOT OF TLC.
