It is all coming back to me from the dark recesses of my wilted mind!  
Yes...Yes, it's almost there...Got it!  That little box, if my mind doth 
do me well, is a part of the fuel injection(?) system.  I remember 
talking to my mechanic and just pitching the thing because I had gone to 
carbs LOOONG ago.  I repeat, this memory has been dredged up after 7 or 8 
years of dormancy, so please, get a second opinion before slashing and 
burning your way through a project.  Good luck!
