Pretty good show, though I think the drag racing had more contestants. It was really neat to see air and water battling each other. Other listees (is that how it's spelled?) I saw where Ray, Jason (yeah Ray, he did show up) and family, and Peter and family. Plus I got to meet even more Type 3ers and answered more questions on ragtops and alternators. Missed ya Tom! It was a good show but not quite as good as Seattle's. There was a black Fastback (for sale) and she won Stock Type III. I won Custom Type III (gee, imagine that) but it was a gimme since I had no competition -- just goes to show that even a beater, if it's the only entrant, can win a trophy! The vendors and swap people were out in force and guess what I bought (yeah, I did it Jason)?... A Type III Parts List tome! It has all kinds of neat info, including those M-codes (did ya know they had an option for police cars?), paint and interior colors (my color is called Bright Orange, not Clementine), those gas heaters that start with an 'E', a Type IV (gas) heat exchanger, and of course every bloody part of the Type III (no Type 34 stuff, though). Wow, it was the best thing for me at the show (yes, better than the Miss Bug-In). As for cleaning the headliner, well, a fellow employee in my group who shows British cars said Simple Green works great. So I tried it and WOW!, it looks like I have a new headliner in my car! The stuff worked great. Just a spritz on a sponge, wipe/scrub the area (25 years, remember) and then wipe with fresh water -- oooh, so that's what white looks like, cool! Thanks to everyone for their suggestions.
