The day OF the original post concerning this book, of which I don't remember the title of course, I went out and bought it! I dropped by a local kids book store, it was on the shelf, and it went home with me. My SO grabbed it immediately, and my 6 yr. old daughter is having me read it to her. Can't wait to show it to my (2) 10 year old boys (out of town). Take heart, it's still available. It originally came out in '74, so Things were brand new, VW's were plentiful, and well suited to the shenanigans portrayed in the book. - Jeff > For those wiping the tears :-), seems to me that a new edition > is > being sold by amazon.com. > > Yevgheny > '70 Notch > > On Sat, 26 Jul 1997, Jake Kooser wrote: > > > I remember seeing (or having?) that book when I was a kid.
