$150 is not pricey for a T3 windshield.  When I replaced mine the cost was 
~500 at a couple of places.  I ended up getting mine (with installation) 
for around $140.

Boyd, Rocky Mountain Motorworks should have windshields for Type 3's
(1-800-258-1996), ~$150+ delivery, pricey but.....Has anyone heard a
rumour that a Super Beetle windshield rubber will fit a Type 3? I'd
heard this one at a show about 10 years ago, but haven't heard it since.
It would save some bucks if it could be done.
