Not every time he does this shift... Makes me think of a loose mount or something that sometimes is out of whack, if you know what i'm getting at..(i have a linage problem with my p'up that will occasionally go into 1st, or reverse, or 3rd, all in the 1st gear possition...(turns out to be some missing bushings on the relay bracket...hmm..) I'm thinking something similar in the cable run for the linkage.. (I cant refer to my Bentley for more info, cause its down in the Bus, which is on the other side of the garden, which is in a DARK yard, in the middle of the woods..........and i plain dont feel like going out there...;') When i can i'll investigate this somemore... .....david -- Keeper Of The Light: Pushing Back The Darkness at http://www.armory.com/~y21cvb/west/darkness.html The Turning 40 Nostalgic VW Service Tour, and Search for the Beginning of Wind http://www.armory.com/~y21cvb/charlie/charlie.html '75 Retired Westy-Canadian Model, Cody (storage shed) '69 Westy, Itchigo (daily driver) '69 Offroad Beetle, Lifted and Uncut!
