It felt pretty steady, all things considered (old brakes, worn steering, etc.). I'd had my father-in-laws Merkur Scorpio-another fine German car- up to 140+ mph (Hey kid, you want to take my new car out for a spin? Sure, *Dad*!), the Notch didn't compare at all to that.
