People don't LIKE to have old VWs pass them, that's all.

Whenever I'm cruisin' down the long roadways (55+ mph roads) I pass quite a 
number of people; those with ego-attitude -- mostly males driving an 
American car, primarily the new Ford Mustangs -- will suddenly pass me as 
soon as they see the circle-VW emblem on the rear hatch.  I just smile 
because the person just proved what an idiot they are.

I'm a driver and I love to drive.  What makes is a less than exciting ride 
for me at times are the other 'drivers' on the road.  I swear to God 
himself that many people received their driver's license from a box of 
Cracker Jacks.  Many people are self-centered, me-oriented bastards who pay 
more attention to their fricken cell-phone while slowly driving their 
big-butt-can't-see-around-it vehicle in the left lane.  So, I don't believe 
it's YOUR driving skills but it's the (lack of) driving skills of OTHERS.

All I have to say is I'm GLAD my 73 is a stick......my 70 was auto and I
had to have it jumped once or twice.  I had to insist to some people that
they not hook their 12V battery to my car...one of my know-it-ALL
co-workers was forcibly removed from my car...they treated me like an idiot
for not accepting a jump too.  But hell what can I expect, I'm a girl and
girls don't know anyting about cars.....right?  :PPPPP

BTW, can someone please back me up on a trivial point?  Eric doesn't
believe that people don't let old VWs pass them om the highway...he thinks
my driving skills (or lack thereof) is the real problem and I'm looking for
an excuse...:)
