Grab a bloody big hammer and smack the whatsits out of the apron
as that is what every other dork has done to 90% of all my cars! I ended
up bending my muffler with heat and a bit of persuasion so it didn't hit
my apron on one of my '67 variants I think. Another one of my '67s, I
took the back bumper off and cut the entire lower bit of the apron off
with an angle grinder and when the bumper was on it looked okay. No I
don't do this sort of thing to good type 3's. That particular '67 was
not very good to start with.
