Hi! I will be at the Placerville, CA show 7/6, hopefully in my "new" Squareback. I'd love to meet any listees... Anyway, I am picking up a 1965 Variant S on Wednesday, which is fairly complete but has been disassembled quite a bit. I would like to either sell the whole thing to someone who is willing to take the time to put it back together (for a cheap price) or part it out. I am buying it simply because, if I part it out, I want the tranny and a few minor things. Plus, I will be saving it from the crusher. My question is, is anyone interested in the whole thing? I'm really only interested in getting my money back on what I paid for it. It is located in Concord, CA and must be towed. Engine and Tranny were running and driveable as of 2-3 years ago when it was parked. Body is straight and virtually no rust. It has an extra motor from another wrecked Squareback, condition unknown. Or, would anyone like me to bring some parts to the show? Fenders, hood, etc.? If no speaks up and wants it complete, I will be cutting it up because someone has already asked for the rockers and front and rear clips, among other things. I also was going to bring copies of my favorite Type III manual to sell. If you want to see which one, look at http://ebus.simplenet.com/Volkswagen/type3 and let me know if you are interested in buying it from the show so I bring enough copies or interested in having me mail you a copy. I picked $15 as the price, for now, including shipping. Thank you, Everett Barnes ebus@ebus.simplenet.com ======================================= 1955 Kombi - Under slowwww restoration 1965 Squareback 1500 S - Just got it - yey, I'm excited!
