What about installing a micro-switch that closes when the shifter is pushed into the reverse location? I used a micro-switch in my 914 to turn on a fan when the heater lever was pushed all of the way back. The switches I've seen already have holes in them so mounting is very easy, just position where you need the switch and drill two mounting holes and screw in. My 'S' has the early nose cone which doesn't even have an allen head plug ready for the switch so I will use the speedo actuated switch for my "reverse lights" or back up lights to you Yankies!! Those speedo switch's are a little hard to get I might add. -- \|/ @ @ +-----------------o00-(_)-00o---------------------------+ | Aaron Britcher MOBILE: 0418 807 160 | | <abritcher@ezinet.com.au> HOME: +61 (0)8 8265 3363 | | | | "If you can't say anything \/ | | sensible, talk to me!" \/\/ | +-------------------------------------------------------+
